Magill is a producer, songwriter and artist based in London. Her bright pop sound and unique vocal tone is influenced by her background in jazz vocals and most admired artists such as Maggie Rogers, Rachael Price of Lake Street Dive, and Joni Mitchell.

Having been raised moving every few years between the United States, Australia, and Canada, Magill’s storytelling and sound contain a blend of influences. Before pursuing her career in music, Magill studied Neuroscience at Columbia University in New York. There she began performing vocal jazz at restaurants and clubs, developing the vocal control, performance skills and unique vocal timber that has allowed her to record across genres as a session writer and vocalist.

Telling stories through sound, whether it be her own or someone else’s, is Magill’s calling. She has jumped with both feet into the music industry in London, and hopes to specialize in bringing female pop artists’ stories to life through her work in music production.

Since moving to London, Magill has completed a Master’s in Commercial Songwriting and Production through Tileyard Studios. During her degree, she honed in on her personal sound and has self-produced a 6-song EP. The first single from this project, Anyway, came out on November 14th, 2025. Her debut song, American Girl, came out in October 2024, and was played on several radio stations in her home state and the UK, including Maine Public Radio and WCLZ.

The production, handled in collaboration with London-based producer Magill Lamarre at the renowned Tileyard Studios, perfectly complements that approach. There’s a refreshing lack of excess throughout the arrangement. Every instrument feels purposeful, every sonic choice serving the song rather than distracting from it. The piano provides an emotional backbone, while the acoustic guitar adds warmth and texture that help create the track’s inviting atmosphere
